Breeding the  AKC Parti Yorkshire Terrier for  Conformation, Coat and
Temperament ......and of  course for the love of a delightful little dog.
For the betterment of the breed
.
I live with my dogs. They live with me in my home, some sleep with me in my bed and try
to eat from my plate but I won't let them go that far. Two of my dogs are from rescue and
are much loved little ones too. I also have 7 beautiful Yorkshire Terriers. These are as
beloved as the rescues by me. In my quest for the "Great Conformation" I do breed with
that being my goal. When there are from time to time puppies from this quest, they are
placed in loving, pre-screened  homes as pets. All puppies go either already
spayed/neutered or are contracted to be spayed or neutered. You can read more about my
puppies on the Available Puppies Page.

I created this site to show off my Yorkies and to show my love of the Yorkshire Terrier. When
I saw my first Parti colored Yorkie I fell in love. I wanted to share information and offer help
to those who are seeking advice and who share that love of this delightful and scrumptious
little dog. You will find in the pages of this site information about the breed, history of the
breed, tips on grooming, a list of  health issues that are known to plague the Yorkshire
Terrier, and links to other sites that offer  help and advice about the Yorkshire Terrier.
Thirty years plus caring for companion dogs, and fifteen years experience with my beloved
Yorkshire Terrier has brought me to this place. I learned just by talking to people who
thought they wanted a Yorkshire Terrier just because of the way it looks, that some would
run out and buy the first one they came across and then were shocked when it turned out
NOT to be the best choice for their family or lifestyle. I felt that I might be able to help them
make better decisions when looking at the Yorkshire Terrier as a companion.

Often I have found that people make decisions based on a fad, then find out the living
creature simply is too much to handle, or the fads change and they lose interest. On this site
we take a look at the Yorkshire Terrier and talk about the needs of the dog and the way
he/she will fit into your  life and/or lifestyle. We talk about the life expectancy of the Yorkie
and the willingness of a potential owner to commit to that many years with their pet
.
It is my hope that you enjoy the site. I do from time to time offer some of my beloved
Yorkshire Terriers as pets to pre screened homes. I keep a list of people who have
expressed an interest in my dogs and  I will  be showing pictures of them from the time
they are born. I will also update pages just for each litter and individuals in a litter that is
being offered. I will answer any question and ask some of my own. If you would like to be
included in this list, please email me via the link below.
I have 8 Yorkies in my breeding program but I only produce 3 to 4 litters in a year.
